DOWNLOAD MY NODE

Get your own Aquisitive node. It runs on your PC — not in this browser on our servers (that keeps costs down).

After download: unzip → run first-run.bat → open http://127.0.0.1:3000. Sync joins the shared LOA brain.

Node.js = install once. This ZIP = download again when the version under the logo changes (see “When we ship an update” below).

DOWNLOAD MY NODE
First time? 3 steps
  1. Install Node.js (the free engine) from nodejs.orgclick the big green LTS button, then Next → Next → Finish. You only do this once on this PC.
  2. Click DOWNLOAD MY NODE above → open your Downloads folder → right‑click the ZIP → Extract All → open the new folder
  3. Double-click first-run.bat → wait until it says Ready → open http://127.0.0.1:3000 in your browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.)
When we ship an update (easy)

You do not reinstall Node.js again.

You do download a fresh DOWNLOAD MY NODE ZIP from this page (check the version under the logo — currently v3.78.0).

  1. Download the new ZIP from this page
  2. Extract it (you can use a new folder, or replace the old one)
  3. Double-click first-run.bat (or start-local.bat if you already set it up once)
  4. Open http://127.0.0.1:3000 again

Your shared learning (LOA Sync) stays in the cloud — a new ZIP does not wipe that. Wallet / Auto‑sign stay on this PC’s browser unless you clear browser data.

Windows blocked it? (no “Unblock” box is normal)

Skip Properties. Do A or B:

A — Easiest (PowerShell)

  1. Open the extracted folder
  2. Click the address bar, type powershell, press Enter
  3. Paste this and press Enter:
    Get-ChildItem -Recurse | Unblock-File; powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\scripts\start-node.ps1

B — Turn off Smart App Control

  1. Settings → Privacy & security → Windows Security → App & browser control
  2. Smart App ControlOff
  3. Then double‑click first-run.bat
Shared learning

Each PC is a node. Use Sync long-term (also auto while open) so paper results merge into the shared LOA ledger. No one needs your personal files — they download the same node package.

This page does not run bots — by design, to keep hosting costs near zero.
